Spring 2026 Foothills Lottery Grand Prize Home
This spring, we had the privilege of contributing to the Spring 2026 Foothills Lottery Grand Prize Showhome in collaboration with Baywest Homes. Designing a showhome is always an exciting opportunity. It allows us to create spaces that inspire while demonstrating how thoughtful design can elevate everyday living.
From the beginning, the vision for this home centered around warmth, balance, and livable luxury. The architecture provides beautiful scale and natural light, allowing the interiors to feel both refined and welcoming.
Our approach focused on layering natural materials, soft textures, and a calming palette that flows seamlessly throughout the home. Each space was designed to feel connected while still offering its own unique moment. Thoughtful furniture selections, carefully chosen lighting, and curated accessories helped bring depth and personality to the architecture.
Several design elements throughout the home create memorable moments for those walking through the space. The kitchen opens into a beautiful breakfast nook that feels both inviting and intimate, creating a natural place to gather in the morning or linger over coffee. In the great room, a dramatic two story fireplace anchors the space and draws the eye upward, highlighting the scale of the architecture while adding warmth and character.
Architectural details also play an important role in shaping the experience of the home. A soft barrel arch welcomes you as you move from the foyer into the kitchen, creating a sense of transition while adding a layer of timeless charm. In the primary suite, a thoughtfully placed interior window connects the primary bathroom and bedroom, allowing light to flow between the spaces and adding a unique design feature that feels both functional and unexpected.
Designing the Foothills Lottery Home was an incredible experience and one we are deeply grateful to have been part of alongside Baywest Homes. Projects like this remind us how meaningful thoughtful design can be. A home is more than finishes and furnishings. It is a place where life unfolds, where people gather, and where everyday moments become lasting memories.
